A woman's breasts are very rarely symmetrical. Usually one breast is slightly larger or smaller, higher or lower, or perhaps shaped differently than the other. Your surgeon will know the best way to help resolve these differences.
Selecting the proper breast implant width is critical to helping ensure your long-term satisfaction with your breast augmentation surgery. If the implant is too wide, it can place stress on your breast tissue, leading to complications. If the implant is too narrow, the cosmetic result may not meet your expectations.
Careful preoperative planning is important because a breast implant that is too large for your tissue can result in excessive stretching of the skin and can contribute to the need for future corrective surgeries. In addition, the implant edge may be apparent or visible under the skin. Also, excessively large breast implants may speed up the effects of gravity and result in earlier drooping or sagging. Once the breast tissue is damaged like this, your surgeon may not be able to reverse the damage. So, listen to your surgeon's advice and recommendations.
There are three common incision sites: within the breast fold (inframammary), around the nipple (periareolar) or under the arm (transaxillary). Your surgeon will be the best person to advise what is best for you.

It is important to talk to your surgeon about what your goals and desires are for your breast augmentation surgery.
It is important to be aware that a larger volume implant may not necessarily mean the outcome will look bigger in your body – it depends on your body type and shape.
